Another family member of New Directions' kids will be introduced on "Glee". It has been confirmed that Thomas Calabro, who is famous for his role as Dr. Michael Mancini on 1990s' "Melrose Place", is set to portray the estranged father of Mark Salling's Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the musical series.
The 53-year-old actor/director will make his guest-starring appearance as Puck's dad in the 18th episode of season 3, which is expected to air in April. He joins Gina Hecht, who has appeared in season 1 as the mother of Finn's best buddy.
"Glee" is currently on a hiatus and will return with new episodes starting Tuesday, April 10. Other guest stars slated to appear in the remainders of season 3 include Matthew Bomer, who will play Blaine's older brother, and Gloria Estefan, who is cast as Santana's mother.
In another news, "Glee" stars Naya Rivera, Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron have been tapped to host the 23rd GLAAD Awards. The former two will host the March 24 ceremony in New York, while the Quinn depicter will headline the June 2 portion in San Francisco.
