Rumor has it, the 'Blue Jeans' singer will perform on an episode where Demi Lovato and DAUGHTRY are also set to sing.
Despite her underwhelming performance on "Saturday Night Live", Lana Del Rey is reportedly heading to "American Idol". The internet meme, who claimed her fame through single "Video Games", is listed on the tickets for the upcoming elimination night which will air Thursday, March 15.
It's unclear whether Del Rey, who repeatedly confessed she's "not by nature a showstopper" when it comes to performing live, will pre-tape her gig or sing in front of live audience. She is allegedly joined in the musical guest lineup by two other performers Demi Lovato and DAUGHTRY.
Before the results show on Thursday, "Idol" will air its second live-performance round a night prior. The remaining 12 contestants are required to perform "songs from the year they were born." Rumor has it, Jermaine Jones may be disqualified for lying to producers about his criminal past.
Aside from performing on "Idol", Del Rey herself is preparing a new treat for her fans. She's promoting her third single "Blue Jeans" and preparing to release a new music video. She has posted its cover art on Twitter with caption, "Blue Jeans cover art, video coming soon."
