"Desperate Housewives" will bury one of its beloved characters in the upcoming episode. After it was revealed in the Nicollette Sheridan vs. Marc Cherry trial, [SPOILER ALERT!] Mike Delfino's death was featured in the latest outing of the ABC drama series and his funeral will be seen in next week's episode.

Donning a black ensemble, Susan holds a rose in front of the coffin. Renee will take the stage during the service, but it's unclear whether she will sing or deliver an eulogy. Also in the aftermath of the devastating death, each of the ladies thinks back on how Mike had affected their lives.

Meanwhile, believing that the investigation died with Chuck Vance, Bree is stunned when she is called in for questioning about the murder of Gaby's stepfather, Alejandro.

"Women and Death" will air Sunday, March 18 at 9/8c on ABC.

In an interview released soon after Mike's death was spilled by executive producer George Perkins during the "Desperate Housewives" trial on Thursday, March 8, James Denton talked about his reaction when he first learned about his character's demise. He said, "The whole time I'm biting the inside of my cheek because I was trying not to crack up because it's fantastic for me."

R.I.P. Mike i cried like a baby. The intense flashback totally broke me down. Mike should have dived onto Susan to knock them both down. He could have survived then.
