The 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' host picks a random audience member to pose as Weezy after the rapper cancels his appearance at last minute.
Jimmy Kimmel turned what was supposed to be a star-injected segment into a hilarious interview after Lil Wayne bailed out of his scheduled appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". Refusing to leave a gap in his show, the host picked a random audience member to be a last-minute replacement.
The audience member named Carl, who bares no resemblance to Weezy, was told to put on a wig of fake dreadlocks and a baseball cap. He was then interviewed by Kimmel about his recent jail stint, during which the Lil Wayne stand-in improvised to answer the questions.
The fake Weezy said he was incarcerated because of "speeding", and he was even more confused when asked which prison Weezy was sent into. The impersonator also claimed he did not have a cell mate and did not interact with other inmates while he's in jail.
