Among the very last A-listers to arrive to the 84th Annual Academy Awards, the powerhouse couple bring in the Hollywood glamor feel as they are both dressed in matching black outfits.
The biggest stars in Hollywood have stepped out on Sunday, February 26 evening for the 84th Annual Academy Awards. Among those stealing the spotlight was none other than A-list couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Dressed in matching black outfit, the pair stood out on the red carpet if compared to the other couples.
36-year-old Jolie got the red carpet buzzing by showing off her leg in a Atlelier Versace dress that features a thigh-high slit. For her accessories, she chose to go with Neil Lane jewelry and a Jaime Mascaro clutch. The "In the Land of Blood and Honey" director didn't get any nomination, but she was set to present the Best Adapted Screenplay award during the ceremony.
Her boyfriend, Pitt, in the meantime, looked sharp in a black and white Tom Ford suit by Tom Ford. The "Moneyball" actor, who is up for Best Actor, finished off his look with a dickie bow and by sweeping back his long blond hair. The Hollywood couple brought along his parents, Jane and Bill, to the special event.
In a red carpet interview, Pitt spoke about how his parents' long relationship has inspired his. "I think to have that stability in your life gives you a peace and a calm that allows you to go out and seek the things that interest you and I take great value in it," he told Access Hollywood. "I'm glad they could be here tonight."
The "World War Z" actor also pointed out that his parents don't put pressure on him and Jolie to tie the knot. "No, mom and dad know we're already, you know [points to heart], we're married here," he said. His mother, Jane, chimed in, "Whatever they want to do. We will support them - whatever they do," adding that she and her husband love Jolie "very much".
