Starting June 14, the Beatle will play in stadiums in support of his new album, 'Ringo 2012', with his reshuffled band.
Earlier this month, Ringo Starr said he was reluctant to join The Beatles reunion, it was probably because he would be occupied with his solo tour. Starr has announced a road show that will support his new album "Ringo 2012" and revealed the line-up for the newest All Starr Band.
The tour will be kicked off on June 14 at the Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, running through July 21 at The Greek, Los Angeles. It means, Starr will spend his birthday on the road, with a performance at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on July 7. The press release said more dates would be added soon.
As for the latest line-up for the supporting band, Starr has recruited Todd Rundgren, Gregg Rolie (Santana), Steve Lukather (Toto), Richard Page (Mr. Mister), saxophonist Mark Rivera and drummer Gregg Bissonette. Both Rundgren and Page have participated in previous All Starr Band tours but this would the first time for Lukather and Rolie.
