Taken on the London set of the 23rd James Bond film, the pictures give a look at Daniel Craig running on the streets and holding a hand gun.
Only a few days after a brand new official image from "Skyfall" was unleashed, some fresh on-set photos from the upcoming James Bond film have been made available for viewing pleasure. Those newly released images show lead actor Daniel Craig holding a hand gun while filming what seems to be an action scene on the streets in London on Friday, February 3.
Clad in a two-piece suit, Craig was also spotted wearing a spy earpiece. Though the photos didn't reveal too much details of the plot, the British hunk apparently had to do a lot of running. It was speculated that he was shooting a chase scene given that his dapper suit appeared to be covered by what appears to be dust.
The 23rd Bond movie has already done its principal photography in several spots in England, including Canary Wharf and Charing Cross, Bognor Regis and Pinewood Studios. It was originally planned to be filmed in exotic locations like Bali, India and China, but the plans were scrapped reportedly due to "technical and financial problems."
Craig will reprise his role as 007 for the third time after 2006's "Casino Royale" and 2008's "Quantum of Solace". In the next film, his loyalty to M is tested as M's past comes back to haunt her. When MI6 comes under attack, Bond must track down and destroy the threat no matter how personal the cost is.
To open wide in the U.S. theaters on November 9, "Skyfall" is directed by Sam Mendes. Craig is joined by a set of Oscar winners and nominees like Javier Bardem, Judi Dench and Ralph Fiennes. Meanwhile, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw and Ola Rapace take on the supporting roles.
