More never-before-seen footage from "John Carter" has been unveiled in a new featurette for the film. Being debuted via Yahoo! Movies, the video sees some funny moments, including scenes where the titular hero gets showered in the face with flour and nastily licked by his Martian dog Woola. It also shows new battle scenes that feature the hero showing off his ability to jump high from one spot to another.

John Carter is an American Civil War veteran who suddenly enters a nearly collapse planet Mars a.k.a Barsoom. There, he turns to be a hero who saves the planet from destruction. In his adventure, he meets Tars Tarkas who becomes his ally in rescuing Red Martian princess Dejah Thoris from belligerent four-armed Green Martians.

Based on a classic novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, "John Carter" is directed by Oscar winner Andrew Stanton. Taylor Kitsch stars as the protagonist, with Lynn Collins portraying warrior princess Dejah Thoris. Willem Dafoe, Mark Strong, Samantha Morton and Dominic West round up the cast ensemble for the epic movie that will hit the U.S. theaters on March 9.
