Seal apparently is not in a hurry to get rid of his wedding ring. The four-time Grammy winner has been spotted wearing a gold band on his left ring finger when he stepped out on Monday, January 23 afternoon, just hours after he and wife Heidi Klum confirmed rumors that they are separating.
The "Kiss from a Rose" singer looked sleek in a grey suit and a white collared shirt for his first outing since announcing the split. While it was suggested that his inability to control his anger led to the break-up, he didn't seem to be in a bad mood at the time he arrived at a Los Angeles studio to fulfill promotional duties for his 8th studio album, "Soul 2".
Seal personally addressed his split from Klum during an interview with Tavis Smiley. "What one has to do in this situation is to remain civil, to retain one's dignity, to be professional, and to understand that we are not the only people on this planet that are going through this," he said before assuring that their break-up won't turn ugly. "We're just not those kind of people."
Seal and Klum announced their separation in the wee hours of Monday. They said in a joint statement, "While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart."
