The 'Nothing in This World' singer says the single from her upcoming second studio album is done and is 'probably going to be out [within] the next month or two.'
Paris Hilton is eying to wow the party crowd for her music comeback this year. In an interview with MTV News at the Weinstein Golden Globes after-party recently, the heiress of the Hilton hotel chains revealed she has scored a collaboration with one of today's hot dance music acts, LMFAO.
"I was just in the studio with RedFoo the other night, so we're going to be doing my new single with LMFAO," the blonde beauty spilled. "I'm so excited. The music's turning out so great and I can't wait to release it this summer." She additionally called the recording session "awesome."
Of how the duet came about, she said, "I've known them since I was a little girl. We grew up together 'cause our parents are friends, so I'm just so proud of them and all their success and what they've done 'cause they've just created this whole 'Party Rock' brand and it's just so awesome."
In addition to hooking up with LMFAO, Paris also has DJ Afrojack on her team. She shared, "It's completely different from my last album. I'm going with a whole new genre. I have Afrojack executive-producing the entire album. So we've just been coming up with the most incredible tracks."
Talking about her preference in dance music, Paris insisted, "This is more my thing [musically on this album], more of a club scene, more dance." She later promised to release the music soon, "The single's done; it's in the can. That's probably going to be out [within] the next month or two."
