Marijuana Named After Beyonce and Jay-Z's Baby

Jay-Z, Beyonce Knowles

Blue Ivy once again becomes a popular moniker as a new strain of marijuana is sold in Hollywood under her name.

The name Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z picked for their first child has become such a household name that it is also used for a marijuana. "OG Blue Ivy" is now selling out in multiple weed dispensaries in Hollywood as a new strain of marijuana.

The sellers are cashing in on the newborn baby's name. Beyonce and Jay-Z have nothing to do with the new strain but it is yet clear whether they would go to court for the name use.

At five days old, Blue Ivy also hit the headlines for being the youngest person to appear on the Billboard charts. Her father, Jay-Z, recorded her crying, cooing and breathing for the song titled "Glory". It entered R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at number 74.
