The 'Melrose Place' actress gets picked up by an ambulance from her Westlake Village, California home after her sister made a 911 call for fear she was going to harm herself.

AceShowbiz - Less than two months after announcing that she and fiance Jack Wagner have ended their engagement, Heather Locklear was rushed to hospital. According to TMZ, the "Dynasty" star might have mixed prescription drugs and alcohol before being picked up by an ambulance from her home in Westlake Village, California on Thursday, January 12.

Offering more details, Radar Online reported that it was Locklear's older sister Colleen, who made a frantic 911 call at around 2:30 P.M. PST out of fear that the actress "was going to harm herself". "Colleen was worried about Heather's state of mind," a source explained. "She is distraught over her relationship with Jack, it is on and off and it has upset her lately."

Confirming reports of the 911 call was Captain Mike Aranda, PIO of the Ventura County Sheriff's department. "Patrol Units, Fire and Ambulances responded to an emergency medical call," he told E! News.

"Once on scene, paramedics determined that [Locklear] needed to be transported to a medical facility and, from my understanding, she was taken to Los Robles Hospital in Thousands Oaks," Aranda detailed. "Once there, the medical staff of Los Robles was taking care of her medical situation."

This is not the first time Locklear has been rushed to hospital. Back in March 2008, a 911 call was made by her doctor, believing that she had tried to commit suicide, which was later denied. The Amanda Woodward of "Melrose Place" was also hospitalized in December 2010 for a bacterial infection.
