In this sneak peek, Jennifer Westfeldt and Adam Scott are two best friends who decide to have a kid together without the hassle of being married or in love.
Lionsgate Films has unleashed the first trailer for "Friends with Kids". Courtesy of Yahoo! Movies, this sneak peek at the comedy movie takes a look at Adam Scott and Jennifer Westfeldt portraying Jason and Julie, two best friends who decide to have a kid without marriage commitment.
How Jason and Julie meet and date other people is shown halfway through the trailer, which teases a look at Megan Fox as Jason's love interest, Mary Jane. Some "Bridesmaids" stars, Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph and Chris O'Dowd, also make an appearance in the trailer as Jason and Julie's skeptical friends.
"Friends with Kids" centers on a close-knit circle of friends at that moment in life when children arrive and everything changes. The last two singles in the group, Jason and Julie, observe the effect that kids have had on their friends' relationships and wonder if there's a better way. Finally, they decide to have a kid together but date other people.
In addition to tackling the female lead role in the movie, Westfeldt serves as director, screenwriter as well as co-producer. The comedy film itself has been premiered at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. It will open wide in the theaters across the United States on March 9.
