When announcing her first pregnancy, the former 'Las Vegas' actress reveals how she broke the baby news to husband Scott Stuber, revealing that it involved a fortune cookie.
Less than four months into her marriage with Scott Stuber, Molly Sims has a baby news to share. The "Project Accessory" host announced through a post on her website on Tuesday, January 10 that she and her producer husband are expecting their first child together, revealing that their little bundle of joy is "a honeymoon baby, due at the end of June."
"The last time I had news that I was this excited to share with everyone was when Scott proposed last May. Today, I am absolutely, positively, downright over the moon to announce that we are pregnant!" so the 38-year-old began the post. "There are simply no words to describe the feeling... I finally get what they mean when they say pregnant women GLOW."
The Delinda Deline of "Las Vegas" went on to admit, "A first pregnancy is a nerve-wracking experience of course, but mostly we are just thrilled and excited. We can't wait to meet him or her." She also shared how she broke the news to her husband as writing, "And if you're wondering where the fortune cookie comes in, that is how I told Scott that I was pregnant."
Going into details, Sims dished, "I hijacked the fortune cookie and typed a new message so that when he opened his cookie at the end of the meal, he found out he was going to be a daddy. You can only imagine how nervous I was during the entire meal (I think I ate a total of two bites...), but the look of surprise and pure joy on his face was priceless."
Sims got engaged to 43-year-old Stuber in May 2011 when he proposed to her with a Diane von Furstenberg ring. They tied the knot in September the same year. It was Sims' first marriage, but Stuber's second. The "Love and Other Drugs" producer was married to actress Rachel Nichols for seven months in 2008.
