The former Roxy Music frontman has exchanged vows with Amanda Sheppard in a private ceremony at a luxury beach resort on the islands of Turks and Caicos on January 4.
Bryan Ferry has become a married man for the second time. News broke out on Tuesday, January 10 that the former Roxy Music frontman has exchanged wedding vows with his girlfriend Amanda Sheppard, who is 37 years younger than him and reportedly had a short term fling with his son Isaac.
The 66-year-old rocker's wedding to the 29-year-old publicist took place at the luxury beach resort of Amanyara on the Turks and Caicos Islands last Wednesday, January 4. It was said that the groom wore a dark blue suit by Anderson & Sheppard, while the bride went with a white dress by Lanvin. His spokesman said it was a "simple private ceremony."
Words are, Ferry and Sheppard have been dating since 2008. The two kept their relationship under wraps because Sheppard "used to date Isaac about five years ago," as explained by an insider back in 2008. The source dished to the Daily Telegraph, "It was a fling rather than a full-on relationship and that would have been when she first met his dad, which is a little strange for Isaac I suppose."
Ferry is no stranger to wide age gaps in relationships. The "Jealous Guy" crooner was married to Lucy Henmore, who was 14 years younger than him and with whom he has four sons, from 1982 to 2003. He once dated Jerry Hall, who is 11 years his junior, as well as dancer Katie Turner, who was 35 years younger.
