Colin Farrell made sure that sick children in a hospital in Dublin, Ireland have something to smile about this holiday season. On Christmas Day, December 25, the "In Bruges" star made a surprise visit to Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Crumlin to deliver more than 100 presents to the kids.
Neither the press nor the paparazzi were tipped off about Colin's surprise visit. Words are, even his publicist was not aware that he would drop by the hospital and shower the kids with gifts. Fortunately, some of the children's relatives took to Twitter to share their excitement over the 35-year-old actor's visit.
One of the relatives wrote, "Just chatting with #ColinFarrell who is in with presents for the kids here in #Crumlin. No tv/media, a gentleman and genuine." Another one tweeted, "Just met Colin Farrell he came to meet the kids in crumlin hospital really nice man. fair play to him putting a smile on the childrens faces."
