Representative confirms that the season 3 winner of 'American Idol' welcomed her second child, whom she named Dallas Xavier Barrino, in North Carolina Tuesday, December 13.

AceShowbiz - Fantasia Barrino has got herself an early Christmas present. The R&B singer, who was the winner of "American Idol" season 3, gave birth to a baby boy named Dallas Xavier Barrino at Presbyterian Hospital in North Carolina on Tuesday, December 13, her representative confirmed.

Sharing her joy over the birth of her second child, the "I Believe" hitmaker told PEOPLE, "I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family." She went on to express gratitude for support she received throughout her pregnancy as saying, "I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support."

Dallas weighed in at 7 lbs, 9 oz and was 21 inches long at time of birth. He joins big sister Zion, Fantasia's 10-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Fantasia herself has yet to reveal who the father of the newborn is, but many thought it was Antwaun Cook, the man the 27-year-old allegedly had an affair with while he's still married.

Fantasia announced she was pregnant with her second child back in late July. Singing at a charity event for the opening of the Riverview Apartments in Jacksonville, Florida, she told the crowd at the time, "You are the first persons that I share this news with. And I share this with you, because I can relate to you."

"And for a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you I don't live my life for folk," she continued on. "This child that I carry. God has given me this child. And I don't have to hide it from none of y'all."
