The 'American Idol' alumna is joined by Megan Hilty, Jack Davenport and Raza Jaffrey at the December 12 event to promote her upcoming musical series.
"Smash" stars came out on Monday night, December 12 to attend a Special Broadway community advance screening of the show. Katharine McPhee, who lands one of the lead roles on the NBC series, was seen taking part at the promotional event held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Keeping herself warm under a blazer, the runner-up of "American Idol" season 5 posed next to her on-screen rival Megan Hilty as well as other co-stars including Jack Davenport, Raza Jaffrey and Jaime Cepero. Also among the guests were actor/theatre director Alan Rickman and "American Idiot" musical actresses, Alysha Umphress and Christina Sajous.
"Smash" revolves around a cross section of characters who come together to mount a Broadway musical inspired by silver screen icon Marilyn Monroe. Having Steven Spielberg as one of the executive producers, this drama series will premiere Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10 P.M. ET on NBC.
