Lisa D'Amato has snatched the winner title on "America's Next Top Model: All-Stars", but it's not her victory which becomes talks of the town. During the cycle 17 finale which was aired on Wednesday, December 7, the judges announced that Angelea Preston, who was among the top 3 along with Lisa and Allison Harvard, was disqualified and could not continue her participation on the show.

"We're back in Los Angeles on the Top Model set and we're here for a special finale that's being conducted under unusual circumstances," judge/executive producer Tyra Banks said during the final judges panel. Prior to that, the three women had done their last challenges, which included doing a Cover Girl commercial, a photo shoot for Vogue Italia on the beach in Crete, and a runway show.

"It turns out, our production team and the network learned information from Angelea that disqualifies her from the competition," added another judge Nigel Barker. "It means we're now going to do our final judging with the remaining two girls, and in the interest of fairness, the producers and the network thought it best to evaluate Allison and Lisa on their own, without the added competition of Angelea."

After the outcome of this season was announced with Lisa's win, it was revealed that the production team had to recut some of the final scenes and replace them with the new ones. "After production wrapped on the current cycle of America's Next Top Model, we learned information that made Angelea ineligible and she was subsequently disqualified from the competition. As a result, new scenes were filmed to address this for the audience during the finale," The CW explained in a statement.

There has been a speculation that Angelea might be cut from the show because she spilled about her victory on her Facebook page before the finale aired, but it has not been confirmed yet. Meanwhile, the model who finished the second in cycle 14 seemingly enjoyed the attention she got from the drama as she tweeted shortly after the show airing, "OMG!!!! IM TRENDING WORLDWIDE on twitter right now!!!!!!!!!! Wowwwww!! That's the whole world!! Lol! #humbled!! Thanks y'all!!! #LOVE."

I think it was pitiful that they chose Lisa over Alison. Lisa's portfolio wasn't even close to being as strong as Alison's. Of the two Lisa looks much older than she is. I hope Allison sticks with modeling and has a great career with it in spite of the judges.

I really don't like I'm really glad that she got disqualified...It would have been fun to watch if Allison and Laura were the finalists...

Angelea did not even deserve to win, she was in the bottom two so many times. Just because she had a big mouth she is not a winner. the other two were way better.

I think that Bre should be named top model because she really deserves it and she is better than any of the other models. But if Angelea really won then she should be named winner cause she still worked her butt off to get to that point. Don't deny her the title.

If it is true that she was the winner and was disqualified it is hard to truly accept Lisa as the winner. It's sad that social media took another soul down.
