T.I. thinks that oversensitive gays are un-American. The rapper was discussing gay rights with Vibe magazine when he revealed how he views Tracy Morgan's joke back in June that landed him in hot water with the LGBT communities.

"Man, I will say this, the funniest joke I ever heard Tracy say during a stand-up was, 'C'mon man, I think gay people are too sensitive. If you can take a d**k, you can take a joke.' [Cracks up laughing.] That s**t was funny to me. And it's kind of true," T.I. said.

Morgan reportedly said in his joke "if his son that was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not [he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice] or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N to death." GLAAD slammed him for making such statement, saying it is not something to joke about.

Morgan has apologized for his joke but T.I. believes the other party has to respect freedom of speech from the First Amendment. "They're like,'If you have an opinion against us, we're gonna shut you down.' ... That's not American. If you're gay you should have the right to be gay in peace, and if you're against it you should have the right to be against it in peace," the rapper said.

I agree, either all of it's ok or none of it is...having said that, is it ok for me, a gay man, to say that Tracy Morgan is an over-paid un-funny negro??

"If you're gay you should have the right to be gay in peace, and if you're against it you should have the right to be against it in peace" Well when I can finally get married, not get kicked out of my house for being gay, not get fired for being gay, and actually be accepted by my family for being gay then I'll be able to be "gay in peace" This dude has no idea how ignorant he is.

I wonder how easily he would take a similarly lame joke about African Americans uttered by a white man? Somehow I doubt he would find it so funny.

He has every freedom to say what he wants but he also has to deal with the repercussions of anything hateful, ignorant or vile that he thinks is "funny" It's called freedom of speech not freedom of criticism.
