A first look at Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender and Logan Marshall-Green in "Prometheus" has been unleashed in a picture that will appear in the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly. A scan of the photo has been shared by Shock Till You Drop, showing the three stars in spacesuits while flashing torch-lights against a futuristic background.
Along with the three stars' image, the magazine also published other first look picture of Charlize Theron and Idris Elba as Meredith Vickers and Captain Janek respectively. The two are seen in what looks like a spacecraft.
In the movie, director Ridley Scott creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth. It leads them to a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
"Prometheus" was originally planned as a prequel for 1979's "Alien". However, the storyline evolved to a more stand-alone mythology. Slated for a June 8, 2012 release in theaters across the U.S., the much awaited sci-fi movie is also supported by Ben Foster, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Patrick Wilson, Rafe Spall, Benedict Wong and Guy Pearce.
