The mystery behind Kelly Osbourne's head injury has been met with an answer. On Monday, November 7 afternoon, her mother Sharon Osbourne explained on her daytime talk show, "The Talk", what exactly happened to the former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant.

According to Sharon, Kelly cracked her head open while doing some ballroom dancing at a club in Miami. The wife of Ozzy Osbourne detailed that her daughter was asked to teach a guy she was dancing with how to ballroom dance. When she did so, "the guy takes down her to dip, and as he dips her down, she hits her head on an amplifier. It split her head open."

Sharon further shared that after the incident, Kelly returned to her hotel. The older sister of Jack Osbourne was rushed to a hospital, where she received stitches and was told she had a concussion, after fainting twice. Sharon added that her daughter is currently back in Los Angeles and "on the mend".

Kelly, who was in Miami to attend a model casting call for Madonna's Material Girl clothing line, revealed Sunday, November 6 that she suffered a head injury. In a tweet she posted after thanking doctors and nurses at Mercy hospital, she wrote, "Long story short I cracked my head open then kept passing out. I have the all clear my mum came 2 get me."

The "Fashion Police" co-host has since revealed plan to be back working. "@materialgirlcol all though i might not be on top form i promise i will not let you down i will be in Chicago tomorrow to continue our surch," so she tweeted on Monday before giving an update on her condition in another tweet. "i just want to thank u all 4 ur well wishes i'm feeling much better!"
