Kim Kardashian has flown to Minnesota to meet Kris Humphries, but a possible reconciliation might be unlikely for the estranged couple. The latest reports regarding the meeting suggested that it was done so that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star and the NBA player can have closure.
TMZ stressed that "this is not a reconciliation", before adding, "Kim wants to make sure she and Kris have closure and talk everything out." Offering similar opinion was Ian Drew, a senior editor at US Weekly, who told ABC News, "What we're hearing is it's more to just make amends to him and give him the respect of discussing everything in person."
31-year-old Kim boarded a late-night flight from LAX to Minnesota on Saturday, November 5, just days after she filed for divorce from 26-year-old Kris after only 72 days of marriage. According to Radar Online, after arriving in Minneapolis at 5:30 A.M on Sunday, she met with Kris and the pastor, who officiated their wedding, for two hours at his home.
On the same day of the meeting, the reality star was snapped making a private phone call on the porch of her estranged husband's house. Still dressed in her practical flight wear, she reportedly looked drained as she pacing back and forth with her handset glued to her ear. At one point, she was seen sitting in silence.
Earlier, news came out that Kim has rejected the idea to have a divorce special on E!. Sources told TMZ that the socialite "did not want cameras to document the private, emotional moments behind her divorce." On the reason why, it was said that she does not want to exploit the "real" moments behind the divorce on TV.
