AceShowbiz - Upon her arrival in the Philippines after her estranged father was stabbed to death, Charice is calling for justice. Speaking in her native language of Tagalog, the Sunshine Corazon of "Glee" said in a radio interview, "Whoever did this must be brought to justice. Justice must be served, not just for my father but for everyone concerned."

In the meantime, condolences have come pouring in from fellow celebrities. Two of the 19-year-old's "Glee" co-stars, Lea Michele and Jenna Ushkowitz, as well as her "Wherever You Are" collaborator, Unique Zayas, have taken to their Twitter accounts to offer their supports.

"My thoughts and prayers go out today to my girl @OfficialCharice and her family for their terrible loss.. Thinking of you Charice..," wrote Lea, while Jenna tweeted, "saddened to hear about @officialCharice 's loss. Sending all my love to you and your family. xo." Unique echoed, "Waking up to sad news of my dear friend @official Charice Dad. my heart goes out to her family in the Philippines! Everyone say a prayer!"

Just read about her father's murder in Phillipines. HORRIFYING. She's heavy in my thoughts."

Charice's father, Ricky Pempengco, died of stab wounds in his back and chest late Monday, October 31. San Pedro town police chief Kirby Kraft said that the construction worker was buying cigarettes from a store when he was stabbed with an ice pick after accidentally bumping into a drunk man identified as Angel Capili Jr.

While it was reported earlier that the Philippine National Police (PNP) said Tuesday that the San Pedro, Laguna Police has arrested Angel, Kirby said on Wednesday that three tracker teams are still looking for him. Accordingly, police will distribute public photographs of the suspect, who is described as 5'4" to 5'5" tall, long-haired, and big bodied, and are preparing murder charges against him.
