Being fashionable seems to be more important to Kim Kardashian than being comfortable. On Friday, October 14, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was spotted taking a camel ride on the beach outside the Atlantis Palms Hotel in Dubai, and she didn't forget to put on a pair of towering high heels.
Joining Kim in the camel ride was her mother Kris Jenner. For the outing, both women dressed themselves in floor-length colorful kaftans. While the wife of NBA player Kris Humphries wrapped herself in a maroon silk version with intricate beaded collar and gold trim, her mother donned an orange variety adorned with blue gems.
Later that day, the 30-year-old reality star stopped by the Dubai Mall, where she was set to open the first Millions of Milkshakes store outside of the United States. "WOW now this is what I call a warm middle eastern welcome!" so she tweeted afterward along with a link to a video of her appearance at the mall.
The night before, Kim visited a traditional clothing shop and tried on some burqas. The reality star, who was also in town to promote her signature perfume at Sephora, also tried on the face veil called niqab, and shared a photo of her in the outfit on Twitter. While she arrived wearing a black skirt with a sheer black and white blouse, she left the store donning the head covering called the hijab.
