Johnny Depp and Amber Heard stole the attention as they arrived at the premiere of "The Rum Diary" in Los Angeles. The two stars looked dazzling when they hit the red carpet of the special screening that took place at LACMA Bing Theater on Thursday evening, October 13.
Rocking blue-tinted glasses, Johnny looked dapper in three-piece suit as he posed for the photographers. His co-star Amber, meanwhile, showed off her leg in a split-to-the-thigh Elie Saab red gown. The blond beauty finished off her gorgeous look with a simple hairdo and a pair of nude color heels.
Johnny and Amber were joined by other cast members, Aaron Eckhart and Giovanni Ribisi, who both looked sleek in two-piece suit. Additionally, director Bruce Robinson was spotted hitting the red carpet together with his family.
The premiere event also attracted some celebrity guests, including Playboy boss Hugh Hefner, who came along with his two blond girlfriends and his son. There was also veteran actor Bill Smitrovich who arrived together with his wife Shaw Purnell.
"The Rum Diary" chronicles Depp's Paul Kemp, an itinerant journalist who travels to the pristine island of Puerto Rico to escape the noise and madness of New York and the crushing conventions of late Eisenhower-era America. There, he works for a local San Juan newspaper run by the downtrodden editor Lotterman.
Scheduled to be released in theaters across the U.S. on October 28, the novel-adapted adventure drama also stars Richard Jenkins, Amaury Nolasco and Michael Rispoli. Bruce also serves as the screenwriter in addition to taking on the directorial duty.
