AceShowbiz - Although "Glee" currently takes a brief timeout, new songs from the musical TV series keep pouring in. The latest ones are a cover version of Christina Aguilera's 2007 single "Candyman", and a remix of Katy Perry's latest hit single "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)".
Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Santana (Naya Rivera) join forces to take on X-Tina's toe-tapping tune. Meanwhile, Blaine (Darren Criss) and Artie (Kevin McHale), who appears in a music video for Katy's party-themed anthem, team up for their own spin on the song.
"Glee" will be back for a new episode on November 1 with "Pot O' Gold". In it, Puck and Quinn will embrace their parenthood, and Mercedes will go recruiting for the new all-girl show choir. Meanwhile, Finn will try to keep the morale up among New Directions, and Sue will proceed with her congressional campaign.
