Gibbs and his team find refugees during their investigation of a murdered coast guard officer, while Special Projects deals with a deadly alliance between a drug cartel and a terrorist.
Justice collides with diplomacy issue in the next episode of "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service". The team is aboard a ship to search for the killer of a coast guard officer who is gunned down on a cargo vessel, but finds a Lebanese family seeking refuge on American soil.
Since director Vance bans the team from bringing the refugees to the U.S., Gibbs and his crew must race against time to save the Lebanese family from the ship which is going to be blown up. Also in the outing titled "Safe Harbor", Tony and McGee try to and find the perfect woman for Gibbs.
"NCIS" spin-off "NCIS: Los Angeles", meanwhile, will see the Special Projects facing a deadly alliance as they are called by LAPD when a raid links a Mexican drug cartel to a wanted terrorist. Sam's most prized possession is also stolen in the upcoming episode called "Sacrifice".
Both "Safe Harbor" and "Sacrifice" will air Tuesday, October 18 on CBS. The former leads at 8/7c, followed an hour later by the new episode of "NCIS: LA".
