After having two successful concerts at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City last month, Demi Lovato announces ten more dates on October 7. This time around, the former "Sonny with a Chance" star will not just perform in one place but will bring her entourage across the United States.
A day prior, Demi teased her Twitter followers by writing, "What a beeaauuutiful day. Guess what... I have an announcement to make VERY soon....!!!! :D." Hours later, she followed it up with a series of tweets, "This is it!!! Hope to see everyone soon on tour!!!:D I LOVE my fans... I cannot wait to see you guys on the road.. :)."
Demi will start the mini tour on November 16 at Fox Theatre in Detroit. Then, the "Skyscraper" hitmaker is going to move on to Mashantucket, Hershey, Kansas City, Houston, Grand Prairie, New Orleans, St. Louis and Atlanta before wrapping it up in Chicago. She will close the gig on December 3 at Rosemont Theater.
The tour is held to help promote Demi's newly-released studio album "Unbroken" which debuted at No. 4 on Billboard Hot 200. Tickets for the concerts will go on sale starting October 14. This trek will be her first major one since she pulled out of Jonas Brothers' tour last fall to enter rehab for personal issues.
Beside the tour, Demi is also expected to perform at Z100's Jingle Ball to celebrate the upcoming New Year. The former girlfriend of Joe Jonas is additionally set to help kick off the holiday festivity in a party which will take place at Aeropostale Times Square.
