Brad Pitt has been caught on camera running away from zombies on the set of "World War Z". The partner of Angelina Jolie was spotted filming a battle scene in the streets of Peckham in London on Saturday (September 24) night.
The "Moneyball" actor was also snapped being involved in a fight while cars were exploding around him and the streets were filled with flames. One of the photos displays a zombie falling from the sky only to crash to the roof of a vehicle.
Before filming in London, the "Megamind" star had been shooting some scenes in Glasgow. In late August, he was photographed running in panic among troops and other civilians in a crowded street in the capital of Scotland.
In the post-apocalyptic horror film, Pitt plays Gerry Lane, United Nation employee who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. The story is adapted from Max Brook's best-selling novel, "World War Z: an Oral History of the Zombie War".
Due to open in U.S. theaters on December 21, 2012, "World War Z" is directed by Marc Forster. Aside from tackling the lead role, Pitt also serves as the producer. Joining him in the cast ensemble were Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, Julia Levy-Boeken and Elyes Gabel.
