The 'Skyscraper' singer turns up the beat in her newly-released song, singing about staying up all night long with the guy she sets her sights on.
Demi Lovato is ready to follow up her well-received first single "Skyscraper" with another hit. The former star of "Sonny with a Chance" drops a brand new material called "All Night Long" which features not just one but two rappers Timbaland and Missy Elliott.
While she conjures up the hard path she went through the rehab in the ballad tune of her "Skyscraper", Demi shows off her fun, sassy side in this new one. A club-ready track with the pumping beat, the song is about going hard all night long with a guy she falls for.
"I love the way you're talkin'/ I'm lovin' what you're doin' boy/ I don't fall easy often/ I never had a love like you before," she is not shy to let the guy know her intention to spending the night together. "Don't make plans/ Come home with me/ We'll stay up all night long."
"It's about staying up all night long and singing it to the boy that you like, and it's flirty and fun and it's not too grown-up, but it's grown-up enough," the teen singer said of the song. Talking about the recording process, she gushed, "I was so stoked when I went into the studio."
The ex-girlfriend of Joe Jonas went on, "I was working with Timbaland, and Missy was there, and she was like, she heard one of the songs and she asked if she could rap on it. And I was like, 'Of course, that's not even a question.' And she did, and she killed it."
Beside the full audio stream of "All Night Long", there is also a preview which gives a short listen to each track in Demi's upcoming album "Unbroken" before official it's made available for purchase in the United States on September 20. The other featured guests in the album are Dev, Iyaz and Jason Derulo.
The one which features Dev is an upbeat track with party vibes just like "All Night Long". It has Demi singing about having hots for a mystery guy, "I've been staring at ya/ And I could do it all night/ You're looking like an angel/ With the kind of body that needs a spotlight."
