AceShowbiz - Expect to get more fresh humor on "The Talk" season 2 with the addition of Molly Shannon to the hosting line-up. The show has just snagged the comedy actress to serve as a co-host alongside returning hosts Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne as well as newly hired Sheryl Underwood.
Shannon will guest host in September, filling the void left by Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete whose contracts were not renewed for the second season. Kim Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner has also been slated to co-host when Osbourne takes a break this fall.
"The Talk" will return with its second season this Tuesday, September 6.
Shannon is best known for being a cast member of "Saturday Night Live" from 1995-2001. She has since landed roles in some TV series including "Kath & Kim", "30 Rock" and "Glee", and starred in such movies as "What Goes Up" and "Bad Teacher".
