Expect to get more fresh humor on "The Talk" season 2 with the addition of Molly Shannon to the hosting line-up. The show has just snagged the comedy actress to serve as a co-host alongside returning hosts Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne as well as newly hired Sheryl Underwood.
Shannon will guest host in September, filling the void left by Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete whose contracts were not renewed for the second season. Kim Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner has also been slated to co-host when Osbourne takes a break this fall.
"The Talk" will return with its second season this Tuesday, September 6.
Shannon is best known for being a cast member of "Saturday Night Live" from 1995-2001. She has since landed roles in some TV series including "Kath & Kim", "30 Rock" and "Glee", and starred in such movies as "What Goes Up" and "Bad Teacher".

The hen-pecked, coward CEO of CBS will never get rid of his boring wife on TV. Chen obviously wants to be on TV 24/7 and her stupid husband makes sure this happens. I refuse to watch anything that witch is in. After what she did to leah and holly because she was jealous of them is disgusting. I only watched The Talk because of talented leah and holly. It was a great show until Chen's enormous ego destroyed it.
They should get rid of Julie Chen and then the show may have some success, everyone is jumping ship due to horrible ratings.... Get Charlie Sheen to host a few shows,,,,the world would watch....No one cares what Julie has to say....
