AceShowbiz - Adrianne Palicki has been snapped on the set of "G.I. Joe: Retaliation". In a new photo taken from the filming location in New Orleans, the 28-year-old actress, who was supposed to play Wonder Woman before NBC passed on the project, is seen donning a coat paired with washed-out jeans and knee-high boots.
Other pictures which are obtained by SpoilerTV feature Palicki with other new stars from the film, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and D.J. Cotrona, during the production on Monday, August 29. The movie beauty will be seen playing Lady Jaye, while Johnson and Corona land the role of Roadblock and Flint respectively.
Another new face was recently added to the "G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra" sequel as Johnson tweeted on Monday that stand-up comedian DeRay Davis joins them on the set to shoot the movie. It is not clear what role which is tackled by the "Barbershop" actor.
The second installment of "G.I. Joe" film franchise is set June 29, 2012 release in the United States. Channing Tatum reprises his role as Duke and Ray Stevenson portrays the villain called Firefly, but official plot synopsis for the action movie has not been released.
