Chris Brown's Spat With Neighbors Gets Judge's Attention in Probation Hearing

Mark Geragos, an attorney for the 'Next 2 You' singer, has to explain to Judge Patricia Schnegg on Thursday, August 25 that his client's $15,000 worth of fines was all a big misunderstanding.

Chris Brown's recent beef with his neighbors gets special attention from a judge during his latest probation hearing. While the R&B singer used to get praise for doing well in previous hearings, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg didn't quickly determine that he was in good standing with his probation this time around.

During the hearing on Thursday, August 25, the judge brought up the subject of neighbors' complaints as well as Chris' $15,000 in unpaid parking tickets. While the "Next 2 You" singer was not present, his attorney Mark Geragos clarified that his client was not at fault and the fines were all a big misunderstanding.

Mark also gave proof that West Hollywood city officials have dismissed all the parking citations after they were informed that the two spaces marked as spots for the disabled have been purchased by Chris when he bought his condo. During the hearing, the lawyer also said that the singer asks to complete his service in California.

Chris' next court date for progress report stemming from his battery case involving Rihanna is set for October 12, and the judge told the probation officials for the "I Can Transform Ya" singer to give a follow up on any outstanding problems he has with his neighbors at the next hearing.
