The 'You and I' singer, who is seen in the picture riding the waves on a surfboard, has reportedly been taking surfing lessons while enjoying some time off in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Lady GaGa knows how to ride the waves. The "Born This Way" hitmaker has just posted on her Twitter page a photo of her surfing during a vacation in Mexico. The picture displays her in a skimpy black bikini and standing on a surfboard with caption that read, "yeah thats me. no heels baby."
The 25-year-old has been taking a break from promoting new single "You And I" in Puerto Vallarta. The Sun reported she spent her time there taking surfing lessons. "For a relative beginner she took to surfing really well," said a witness. "She started quite slowly learning how to bodyboard and then she was able to work up to standing - she made excellent progress."
Allegedly, GaGa paid $240 for her surfing lesson and splashed out on a $10,000-a-night hotel suite. The "Bad Romance" singer seemingly really enjoyed her time off. The observer added, "She has been very relaxed since she arrived at the resort and is looking to unwind from her punishing timetable on the road."
On the same day of her surfing tweet, it was announced that GaGa will open the live telecast of 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Her Little Monsters unraveled a banner that read, "GAGA TO OPEN VMAs!!!" on Times Square. The singer herself said of landing the opening slot, "It means the world to me. I just feel really blessed every day. I have the most amazing fans."
