"True Blood" star Sam Trammell has officially become a father, if Life & Style can be trusted. Accordingly, the 40-year-old actor, who plays Sam Merlotte on the HBO hit series, and his girlfriend of eight years, Missy Yager, have welcomed their twin boys on Tuesday, August 9.
Speaking of Sam and Missy's reaction about their first sons' birth, a source spilled, "The couple is very happy that everything went smoothly." Though so, details about the newborns, including their weight upon arrival and names, have yet to be disclosed.
Sam has been together with Missy, who had roles on "Boston Public" and "Mad Men", after meeting each other while performing on Broadway in New York City. The two announced they were expecting back in early March. His representative said at the time, "The couple is thrilled and excited."
The "Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem" actor last tweeted about waiting for the arrivals of his twins in early July. In response to surfer Ian Walsh's question on Twitter, "hows the summer treating ya? any trips soon???", he wrote, "I wish! We're just waiting for the babies to come. Any day now."
