Hours after he revealed his Italian restaurant in Birmingham was ransacked by the rioters, the Naked Chef tweets, 'Respect to the community support on the clean up people have ben [sic] amazing!!'

AceShowbiz - Jamie Oliver quickly got his Italian restaurant in Birmingham back to business. Hours after he revealed that Jamie's Italian suffered damages in the riots that have swept London and other part of U.K., the celebrity chef took to Twitter to share to his followers that the restaurant has been restored.

"Birmingham restaurant got fixed up quick," tweeted the 36-year-old before adding, "sad for many of the other shop owners especially the small family run businesses in this climatex." Daily Mail reported that his spokesman has confirmed that the restaurant had opened for lunch on Tuesday, August 9.

Jamie earlier took to Twitter and wrote, "so sad to see whats happening in UK with these Riots!all gone mad !time to get our country back now we need 2 come down hard on these idiots." Hours later, he tweeted, "sadly my restaurant in Birmingham got smashed up windows all gone whole area closed, cant open, staff and customers all safe!!thankfully jox."

The "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution" host has since thanked police officials and good Samaritans for the clean up effort. One of his tweets read, "God bless the communities getting together to sort this out #RiotCleanUp People who care about their country!!" In another, he wrote, "what a day .....respect to all the community support on the clean up people have ben [sic] amazing!!"
