Taking the lead role on The CW's new drama series, Sarah Michelle Gellar shares during the panel that she will be seen in a lot of actions.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Michelle Gellar showed up at San Diego Comic Con on Thursday, July 21, to attend a panel for "Ringer" which marks her return to TV after "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" ended eight years ago. Receiving huge cheers from fans, she was joined by co-stars Ioan Gruffudd, Kristoffer Polaha and Nestor Carbonell, as well as producers Eric Charmelo, Nicole Snyder and Pam Veasey.

During the panel, a new promo for the new CW show was presented. Offering some never-before-seen scenes, the sneak peek introduces the main characters, including the twin sisters portrayed by Gellar, and what roles they play in the twisty plot of the drama series.

Talking about the "twists and turns and secrets" of "Ringer" which will premiere September 13 at 9 P.M., executive producer Eric Charmelo said, "One [of the twin sisters, Bridget and Siobhan] is driven by redemption; one is driven by revenge. You won't know who's the femme fatale and who's the mark."

"We love delving into the realm of moral ambiguity," he added. "There are things we allude to that cause a huge riff between sisters. It all plays into mythos of that and it's something we'll unravel over the season in flashbacks."

Charmelo also shared that they have mapped out ideas for the first three seasons, stating "When we pitched it, we had three seasons of ideas kind of percolating. Obviously things evolve once you're in a room, but we're playing with time and perspective so it gives us some latitude."

Gellar, meanwhile, teased she will be seen in a lot of actions as she shared, "I got a gun [in the 'Ringer' pilot] and 'Buffy' never got to shoot a gun." She went on revealing, "But yesterday I had a skillsaw and that thing I did not like. I never want to use that thing again. Ever."
