Hall H will witness panels for Summit's 'Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I' and FilmDistrict's 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark' before 20th Century Fox takes over the place later on the noon.

AceShowbiz - Two weeks away from the kick-off of San Diego Comic Con 2011, the official panel line-up of the first day has been released. As it was reported before, Summit will present a panel for "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I" in Hall H on Thursday, July 21 at 11:15 A.M. There is still no confirmation, however, on whether or not the "Twilight" trio will come.

Also in Hall H, FilmDistrict Studio will hold a panel for its upcoming releases, "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" and "Drive", at 2:00 P.M. 20th Century Fox will later use the place to present first-looks at some of its most-anticipated pictures, but the projects meant are yet to be known. Similarly, Robert Rodriguez will make use of the event to present a sneak peek to his upcoming films.

While Warner Bros. Pictures is not scheduled to hold a panel for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" and "The Hobbit: There and Back Again", latest updates from the two films can be obtained during "TheOneRing.net: Hobbit Talk" which will take place at 10:00 A.M.

Meanwhile, "Harry Potter" fans can share their excitement regarding "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II", which will have been released in theaters by the time of the convention, at "Harry Potter Fandom Panel" starting at 5:00 P.M.

San Diego Comic Con 2011 will open with Preview Night on July 20 and end on July 24. Full list of first-day events can be seen on the official site.

11:15 A.M.-12:15 P.M. The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I - Attendees will be presented with exclusive footage from "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I" and be treated to a filmmaker and cast Q&A session providing details on the first half of the epic two-part finale. Hall H.

12:45-1:45 P.M. Animation Showcase - Sony Pictures Animation will present previews to upcoming films, "Arthur Christmas" and "The Pirates! Band of Misfits". Hall H.

2:00-3:00 P.M. FilmDistrict Studio Panel - FilmDistrict celebrates two upcoming features: "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark", a Guillermo Del Toro production, and "Drive", directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. Exclusive footage will be presented and a Q&A will be held for both films. Hall H.

3:15-4:30 P.M. 20th Century Fox - Fox presents first-looks at some of its most-anticipated pictures of 2011 and 2012. Hall H.

4:00-5:00 P.M. Masters of the Web - Some of the most prominent and influential film pundits on the web discuss the film industry, writing for film online, film fandom, and a whole lot more. Room 5AB.

4:45-5:45 P.M. Robert Rodriguez's Quick Draw Productions - Robert Rodriguez presents a sneak peek to his upcoming films. Hall H.

5:00-6:00 P.M. Harry Potter Fandom Panel - Fans of "Harry Potter" film series will discuss the latest installment, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II". Room 25ABC.

6:00-7:00 P.M. Entertainment Weekly: The Visionaries: A discussion with Jon Favreau and Guillermo del Toro on the Future of Pop Culture - EW moderates an in-depth conversation with Jon Favreau ("Cowboys and Aliens") and Guillermo del Toro ("Don't Be Afraid of the Dark") about their inspirations, their current work, and how they strive to put a personal stamp on blockbuster entertainment.
