Another sneak peek to "Conan the Barbarian" has been provided in a form of an international trailer. Still heavy in action, the snippet provides a longer look at Conan's bitter childhood during which his father was killed and his native village was slaughtered under the order of evil Khalar Zym.
In his quest to seek the vicious warlord, Conan crosses path with a mysterious woman named Tamara and discovers that he's destined for great deeds. As Conan realizes that he is the only hope of saving the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil, a personal vendetta soon turns into an epic battle against hulking rivals, horrific monsters, and impossible odds.
Jason Momoa takes the titular role while Stephen Lang plays villainous Khalar Zym. Rachel Nichols is cast as Tamara, Ron Perlman stars as Conan's father Corin, and Rose McGowan portrays a sinister sorceress named Marique.
Directed by Marcus Nispel, the R-rated action fantasy movie is going to be presented in 3-D when it hits U.S. theaters on August 19.
