The 'I Don't Want to Be' hitmaker is coping with a heartbreak after a tough split with his lover, but he finds it hard to let her go.
A music video in support of Gavin DeGraw's latest single "Not Over You" has just been released for fans' viewing pleasure. It features the New Yorker and his on-screen leading lady trying to get through their break-up and move on with their lives, but they fail miserably.
The song is co-written by Gavin with the help from OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder. "I think Ryan did a great job with featuring piano up front with the vocals," he praised his partner. The track is recorded for his next studio album "Sweeter" which is due later this year.
Dishing on what makes his upcoming album different from the predecessors, Gavin gushed, "It's just funkier and it's more sexy." He added, "Not that every song is about bumping and grinding cause that's not at all the record I'm saying I made. It's just a sexier more intimate type of album."
