One "Grey's Anatomy" star is going to follow the footsteps of her on-screen alter ego in walking down the aisle. Sara Ramirez, the actress who is best known for her portrayal of orthopedic surgeon Callie Torres on the medical drama series, has got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Ryan Debolt.
Breaking the blissful news to the press was a representative for the 35-year-old, who won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical in 2005. Her rep recently said in a statement, "Sara Ramirez and her longtime partner, Ryan Debolt, are thrilled to announce their engagement." It was further noted that the proposal took place in Paris, France on June 17.
News of Sara's engagement to Ryan came out a little over a month after her TV character, Callie, tied the knot with fellow doctor Arizona Robbins on the seventh season of the ABC series. It is still unclear whether Sara and her new fiance have set their wedding date. Nevertheless, this will be the first marriage for the Mexican-American actress.
