LMFAO are gearing up to release their second studio album "Sorry for Party Rocking" across the United States on June 21. The uncle and nephew duo are ready to get the party started and shake the dance floor this summer with their collection of some delectable, fun, and uplifting tracks.
To prove that point, they have already started their invasion with a smash hit "Party Rock Anthem" which peaked at No. 1 on eight countries worldwide and climbed to the top 10 in many others. In the U.S., the Lauren Bennett and GoonRock-assisted single reached No. 3 on Billboard Hot 100, marking their first-ever top 10 single.
While the "Rock Anthem" is still burning the chart, LMFAO rolled out their second single "Champaigne Shower". Another catchy tune which has the potential to be a summer filler, it features British singer Natalia Kills and has recently climbed to No. 14 on the U.K. single chart.
In a recent interview with Hollyscoop, Redfoo said, " 'Champagne Shower' is what we do at the club when we, you know, pop the bottle and we wanna enhance the club." He added, "There's some people and they're dancin but they're just there and we wanna wake 'em up so we shake 'em up."
Beside featuring Lauren, Goon and Natalia, the electronic group also lined up the likes of Busta Rhymes, will.i.am and Eva Simons for the soon-to-be-released CD. For the promo effort, they have embarked on a tour since January this year, and are currently in the middle of finishing their North American leg.
