'Game of Thrones', 'The Vampire Diaries', 'The Walking Dead' as well as newbie 'Terra Nova' are other TV shows which will come to the convention.

AceShowbiz - HBO is bringing its two hottest original series, "True Blood" and "Game of Thrones", to San Diego Comic Con 2011. The former will return to the convention for the fourth consecutive year on Friday, July 22 with its cast like Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. Creator Alan Ball will also make appearance, but Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard reportedly will not join them.

"Thrones" will be showcased on Thursday, July 21 with the book's author George R.R. Martin as special guest moderator. The stars like Emilia Clarke, Jason Momoa and Peter Dinklage are scheduled to attend the panel which marks the show's debut at the event.

FOX has also listed a bunch of shows which will be promoted at Comic Con, including "Bones" (July 22), "Terra Nova" (July 23) and "Glee" (July 24). From The CW, there will be "The Vampire Diaries" and upcoming new series "The Secret Circle". NBC plans to make use the occasion to promote newbie "Grimm", while AMC will bring "The Walking Dead".

Also worth waiting is Starz's panel for "Spartacus: Blood and Sand", which is retitled "Spartacus: Vengeance" for season 2, which will take place on July 22 at 5:45 P.M. in Room 6BCF. The network will introduce the new Spartacus depicter, Liam McIntyre, during the event.

This year's San Diego Comic Con will take place on July 21-24. More info on participating shows and details of the panels are expected to be unveiled in the next few weeks leading to the convention.
