Jackie dodges a urine test in the season 3 finale, while Tara leaves for Boston to get help from an expert in the last episode.
Next week on Monday, June 20, "Nurse Jackie" and "United States of Tara" will wrap up the third season. Called "...deaf blind tumor pee-test...", the season finale of "Jackie" sees the title character dodging Akalitus' request for a urine sample and forgetting to order a cake for Coop's wedding as Kevin makes a stunning confession that leads to a marital split and Coop's bride stands him up at the altar.
Meanwhile, "The Good Parts" which will also serve as the last episode of "Tara" follows Tara and Max who decide to get Tara the sophisticated help she needs from the Boston specialist that Dr. Hattaras had referred. But before they begin the next phase of her life there, Gregsons have to once again put the pieces of their fractured family back together.
Both "Nurse Jackie" and "United States of Tara" air on Showtime with the former leading at 10 P.M. and the latter following at 10:30 P.M. The Edie Falco-starring drama show has been renewed for a fourth season, while the drama comedy that features Toni Collette as a mother coping with dissociative identity disorder will not return in the fall since the network has canceled it.
