Music stars have stepped out on Wednesday evening, June 8 to make merry the 10th Annual CMT Music Awards. Among those spotted hitting the red carpet rolled out in front of the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee were pop sensation Justin Bieber and "American Idol" runner-up Lauren Alaina.
Coming to the event, Justin sported a casual look. The 17-year-old singer, who is up for Collaborative Video of the Year for "That Should Be Me", wore a black shirt under a white jacket, matching pants, sneakers and backwards cap. Instead of bringing girlfriend Selena Gomez, he was accompanied by his mother Pattie Mallette. He was also joined by Rascal Flatts on the red carpet.
16-year-old Lauren, in the meantime, dressed up for the awards show. Taking advantage of her young age, the country singer from Rossville, Georgia opted to go with a strapless pink mini-dress with matching heels. Joining her on the red carpet was "Idol" winner Scotty McCreery, who looked sleek in a suit and jeans.
Also spotted looking fabulous on the red carpet were a handful of other country music stars, including Shania Twain, Sara Evans, Sugarland and Lady Antebellum. The likes of Hayley Williams and her Paramore band mates also made an appearance on the red carpet as well. Hayley, in particular, wore a sheer black top for the occasion.
This year's CMT Music Awards is hosted by Kid Rock. Jason Aldean led the nominations with four nods, while Lady A, Toby Keith and Bieber are up for trophies. Keith Urban, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts and Zac Brown Band are among the line-up of performers.
