Just a few hours before "American Idol" season 10 final result show was kicked off, the winner has been allegedly revealed. The Drudge Report claims to have learned the result from 122.4 million votes that were cast following the Tuesday, May 24 performance show.
According to the report, [SPOILER ALERT!] Scotty McCreery will beat Lauren Alaina almost two-to-one on the Wednesday final result show. The show itself is currently airing on FOX with the top 13 returning to the stage to perform.
Scotty and Lauren were up against each other during the final performance show where they performed three songs each: their favorite song, a celebrity's choice and their debut single. Before the performance, sixteen-year-old Lauren blew out one of her vocal cords.

I agree with the taste of performances other than the participants. I like to watch this with my kids, but I've started DVRing it and only watching the participants. Sad
