The former Victoria's Secret model, who was released on $100,000 bail, was put in custody on Monday night, May 23, after crashing into three parked cars, kicking an officer and attempting to flee.
Estella Warren has gotten herself in a heap of trouble with the law. The former Victoria's Secret model was arrested in Los Angeles on late Monday night, May 23, under suspicion of driving under the influence after allegedly crashing her Toyota Prius into three parked cars and driving away from the scene.
A representative for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department confirmed the car crash incident to People Magazine. "Warren hit three parked cars in what was considered three separate collisions. Someone local heard the noise and called the police," explained the rep. When the police got to her, the 32-year-old resisted arrest and even kicked an officer, which led to her being re-arrested for felony battery.
The "Planet of the Apes" actress was then taken to a local women's police station for processing. During the booking process, however, she somehow managed to get out of her handcuffs and escaped through a back door. "She was uncooperative and demanding. She removed her handcuffs and fled the police station. She was captured and transported back," said the police's rep.
Following the arrest for hit and run, felony escape and DUI, Estella was held on a $100,000 bail. Radar Online reported she has posted the bail at about 2:30 PT on Tuesday, May 24. Additionally, the gossip site reported that the "Kangaroo Jack" actress snapped at the owner of one of the cars she hit on Monday night.
"I believe she hit at least two other cars before she stopped. When I approached her she was obviously drunk and acting crazy," recalled the car owner. "A few more residents approached her, but she started yelling and accused us of stealing things from her. When I told her she had to wait for the police to arrive she lashed out at me and started to 'girl-slap' me on my chest and arms."
