The two finalists of 'American Idol' season 10 reportedly will premiere their debut singles during the May 24 performance night.

AceShowbiz - As "American Idol" comes closer to the finale, tidbit about the finalists Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina's debut singles was shared. According to Taste of Country, Scotty has recorded "Love You This Big" as his debut single, and Lauren has "Like My Mother Does" as her own.
A source at Universal Music Group furthermore told the publication that the two aspiring singers will premiere the new singles during "Idol" performance show on May 24. Their performances reportedly will be made available for digital download on iTunes that night. Lauren's song reportedly is the one which was previously recorded by Kristy Lee Cook for her album "Why Wait".
Scotty and Lauren will battle it out for the winner of "Idol" season 10 this coming Tuesday. Scotty won in a coin toss to determine who would choose the singing order, but he let Lauren to choose if she would go first or second, and the 16-year-old Georgia native chose second.
They are going to perform three solo songs, one of them supposedly their debut singles, at the upcoming finale. Rumor has it, "Idol" alum Carrie Underwood will pick a song for Lauren, and George Strait will choose for Scotty. A third song will be a favorite chosen by Scotty and Lauren.
Coming as guests at the singing competition will be Bono and The Edge. It's confirmed on the U2 official site that "Bono and Edge will appear alongside Reeve Carney, who plays Peter Parker, and cast members from SPIDER-MAN Turn off the Dark which is set to open on Broadway, June 14."
