It looks like Chris Brown and Rihanna have moved past the assault case and all the bitterness that came with it. The two stars have hooked up online, following each other on Twitter recently as noticed by TMZ and Rihanna's fans.

As soon as it was found out, Rihanna cleared off any speculation that may come. She tweeted, "It's fu**in twitter, not the alter! calm down" in response to a fan's tweet which says, "I never thought you would go back to him! You better not, its your life but you do have ppl that look up to you. e.g young girls."

Brown was prevented from having a contact with Rihanna and was told to keep his distance from her following the 2009 tragedy. But a judge later lifted the restraining order as requested by Rihanna's team.

Brown infamously burst out on "Good Morning America" when he was questioned about the assault case. His mother recently said that the singer is yet to confront the situation and better starts. "I think he really needs to talk about the situation in itself, what actually happened to Rihanna," Joyce Hawkins opined. "So that he can get that out for himself. He has to learn to deal with it and go on with his life. This is something that happened; it was a huge mistake, it was not good at all."

I hope Rihanna does not get back with Chris Brown. It's good to forgive, but with what happened, he could have killed her! If I were RiRi, I would think twice about befriending him again. Some women in domestic violence never get out and some don't get out alive. Be careful Rihanna, your fans love you. You are one of my favourite artist's. Luv u, and be safe

No one is perfect and no ones life is perfect. I think every one should back off of her. She is a grown woman that can makes her own choices. Like she said, it's Twitter, not the Altar! If your life is not perfect, you have no room to talk or judge her. I admire her for her courage to move past it and not let it run her life.

there are 2 sides to every story. I have to say its funny people feel they have the right to tell others how to live their life fan or not. I hope if they want to be together so be it and if they do unite, couples counseling would be a good idea. I also believe they were hitting each other and the judge should have held them both accountable setting an example for both men and women. women have anger issues and hit too.

I'm glad they're letting the past be the past. Nothing wrong with talking. He has a girlfriend so it's not like they're back together.
